This policy applies to customers/users, guides or service providers, and people who access, create an account, or use Vietnam Local Tour Guide.

• Identity and contact information such as name, email, phone number, nationality, or address when needed to provide a service.
• Account and profile information. Guide applications may include professional information and guide cards or documents required by law.
• Booking requests, tours, dates, locations, participant counts, messages, feedback, and complaints.
• Technical data needed to operate and secure the platform and prevent fraud.

We use information to create and manage accounts, verify information, display guide/service profiles, receive and process booking requests, support customer-guide communication, provide support, handle complaints and violations, secure the system, and comply with lawful requests from competent authorities.

Information is used only as needed to operate the platform. Some guide information is public as part of a service profile. Necessary information may be shared with the other party to a transaction, infrastructure or technical providers supporting the system, or competent authorities under a lawful request. The Company does not sell personal data to third parties.

Data is stored for the time needed to operate the platform, perform and resolve transactions, handle disputes and complaints, and meet applicable legal retention duties. Published service information is retained for the period required by applicable e-commerce law.

Users may request access, updates, corrections, or other requests relating to their information by email or through a published support channel. The Company may verify identity before processing a request. Requests to delete information are handled where permitted by applicable law and where retention is not otherwise required.

The Company applies appropriate organisational and technical measures to limit unauthorised access, use, alteration, or disclosure. If an incident affects data, the Company takes response and remediation measures and coordinates with competent authorities as required.

Vietnam Local Tour Guide does not provide online payment functionality, collect or hold service payments, or store payment-card information for collecting service fees. Customers pay guides or providers directly under the parties’ agreement.

The website uses essential session cookies needed for account authentication. The application also includes Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights for site measurement and performance, Supabase services for authentication, database, and storage, and an optional WhatsApp contact link.

This policy may be updated to reflect actual operations or legal requirements. The effective version is published on the website.
